A quick look back at 2020

Congratulations to Erik Fjellborg and Andreas Kemi of Quinyx, which has just secured $14m in investment from Alfvén & Didrikson!

Fjellborg, Quinyx CEO and founder, says “We are absolutely delighted that Alfvén & Didrikson has invested in Quinyx and believe their significant funding, and wealth of experience will enable us to increase our international expansion.”

Quinyx is the Scandinavian market leader in cloud-based and mobile workforce management solutions. Their software allows companies who employ a shift-based ‘flexible’ workforce – such as those in the fast-food industry – to abandon the excel sheets and plodding ‘on-premise’ software of the past, and integrates features including scheduling, shift planning and swapping, timesheet functionality via workers checking in using Quinyx’s mobile apps, and budget forecasting. The solution’s success has propelled the company to grow by almost 600% in the past three years.

The investment is a combined private placement and secondary share purchase. Magnus Sandberg, angel investor and former Google engineer, will be one of Alfvén & Didrikson’s co-investors. Erik Fjellborg will remain the largest private shareholder in Quinyx after the transaction. Maria Åhr, CEO of Alfvén & Didrikson, has been appointed Chairman of Quinyx and Måns Alfvén, founder of Alfvén & Didrikson has also joined the Board.
