Austin Desautels is originally from San Francisco, CA. He studied philosophy at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut where he wrote his thesis on education in language. Later, he returned to San Francisco to work as a paralegal at a Kirkland & Ellis representing Samsung in an IP litigation case regarding telecommunication technologies.
