Sami’s first introduction to IT business was in 1997 when he started
working as an IT consultant for a large Finnish consultant company. In
total he has over 10 years of experience in different kind of
companies and also a broad experience in IT solutions.

He has been an entrepreneur since 2004 and his main focus is on Care
IT. He is also a founding partner of Storage IT Ltd, which currently
is the biggest on-line backup service provider in Finland.

After high school he started studying at the University of Helsinki.

Care IT was founded in 2004 by the current CEO Sami Minkkinen. At
first, Care IT offered IT services as any other company: providing
consulting, outsourcing, hardware and software services to different
customers.

During the end of 2007, Care IT’s offerings started to shift radically
to offer new kind of IT services (MSP). The company went under a
significant change in its business during 2008/2009 and is now growing
quite rapidly and profitably.

Care IT is now the leading MSP (Managed Service Provider) in
Scandinavia and third in Europe.
