In 1984, Sérgio began his professional career as a programmer. In
1986, he moved to sales, and took several positions such as sales
manager (UNISYS, Data General, Software AG, ORACLE), country general
manager and south europe VP at Informix. In 2001 IBM acquired
Informix, and he stayed based in Madrid H2’01 responsible for data
management Iberia software brand. From January 2002 to December 2007,
Sérgio was managing director for all IBM Software brands in IBM
Portugal, and was a member of the IBM Portugal executive board. In
January 2008, Sérgio joined FiberSensing as CEO.
