Phil has more than 20 years experience in the technology industry and a first-rate track record of growing software companies in both Europe and the US. Prior to Fluency, he was CEO of CDC Solutions, a venture-backed company he built. Phil led CDC Solutions to its position as one of the world’s leading regulatory technology services providers. The company achieved a successful exit in December 2003 when it integrated with Liquent, a division of IHI. After the integration, Phil was responsible for global operations, sales, and product marketing. He also directed a strategy to achieve a further exit of the combined businesses to Thomson Corporation for a $600M cash sale. Phil’s previous roles include Sales and Senior Management positions at Informix Corporation, Stratus Computer, Pyramid Technologies, and Ironside Technologies. At Ironside Technologies, he was responsible for establishing operations outside of the Americas domestic market, growing sales from 0% to over 60% of the worldwide revenues in under two years. Phil received his education at London University and the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst.
