Luís Janeiro is currently the founder CEO of PayUp Group. He has also been the founder CEO of some start up companies, responsible for new business, international ventures and postal bank projects. Between 2001 and 2006, he was CEO of PayShop and responsible for the launch of this new concept in Portugal whilst, previously, he had been playing important roles as Controller and New Business Director in leading insurance and consulting groups, amongst others. Luís' educational background is in Finance and consulting.

PayUp is a leading supplier of cost-effective pre-payment and convenient bill payments services, for national and regional bill-issuing companies (such as utilities, telephony providers and other major service companies). PayUp also provides support to their retail agents in receiving payments with debit and credit cards and remittances as a Western Union partner. In 2010 the aggregate sales of PayUp Group will be around €86M and the EBITDA should be positive.
