John is one of the founders of ASD and he has 17 years of experience in the semiconductor business. With his first position, he spent three years with research activities on MMIC circuit design at the Norwegian Institute of Defense FFI. He then joined Nordic Semiconductor ASA. At Nordic Semiconductor, John held different positions within the ASIC department, where he was responsible for analog design methodology, commercial, and technical sales and implementation of ASICs. John also has experience from product industrialization through positions at SensoNor ASA (now Infinion) and Q-Free ASA.
John was educated at the Norwegian Institute of Technology NTH in Trondheim, Norway and earned this M.Sc. in 1991.
