Founded in 2004, ReVolt Technology is a spin-off of SINTEF, Norway—one of the largest contract research institutes in Europe.
ReVolt’s Zinc-air batteries have more than twice as much energy than conventional Li-ion batteries, cost less to manufacture, are safer to use, and are environmentally friendly. The net result is a new battery, developed by ReVolt, that provides 3x the energy at 1/3 the price of coventional li-ion batteries.
With strong financial investment from Northzone Ventures, RWE Innovgy VenturesSinvent, Sofinnova Partners, TVM Capital, Verdane Capital and Viking Venture, Revolt Technology is well-positioned to industrialize its breakthrough technology and capture substantial market share.
