Jorge is partner and co-founder of Pathena, an investment company. Before Pathena, Jorge had been co-founder of Enabler (formed in 1997), and was Enabler's COO when Wipro Technologies acquired Enabler in June 2006. Those days, Enabler was €30M revenue with 310 people. Jorge participated in the initial set up of Enabler and supported the international development and growth of the company. Within Wipro, Jorge became Head of Delivery for Wipro Retail business unit ($100M+ revenue in 2008/09), assignment that finished in May 2009. Before the creation of Enabler, Jorge was IT Director in Sonae Retail in Portugal. Jorge has international experience in several different countries, including Portugal, Spain, UK, Germany, USA, Brazil, UAE and India. Jorge is Systems Engineer from University of Minho in Portugal. During his professional career, Jorge made continuous training in areas like general management, leadership and M&A in different schools including INSEAD and London Business School.
