NomaDesk was founded in 2004 by Filip Tack, Miguel De Buf and Peter Geldhof. The initial result is the first file sharing solution that enables both online and offline team-document management. NomaDesk® was launched in 2006 and its client base consists of a rapidly growing number of SMBs and global businesses.
In 2007, the company completed a €3.0M Round A with GIMV, one of the leading Venture Capital funds in Belgium.
In 2010, the company completed a $7M Round B with GIMV and BAMS, and initiated a search for a US-based CEO.
In 2011, the company has achieved revenue growth of +700%, and launched its solution globally for all McKinsey employees. In addition, the company has signed over 40 resellers throughout the world, and continues to sign leading F500 enterprise accounts and SMB companies.
