Having founded MobiComp in 2000, Carlos was decorated by the President
of the Portuguese Republic, Dr. Jorge Sampaio, in 2006 in recognition
of his entrepreneurial work.

Carlos holds a degree in Systems Engineering and Computer Science from
the University of Minho, Portugal, and a postgraduate degree in
Advanced Enterprise Management for IT and Telcos from the Catholic
University, Portugal.
