How it Works.The CEO-CF team performs due-diligence with every prospective member to evaluate the CEO's potential fit to one of the Collaborative Forum groups. CEO-CF next conducts a thorough analysis to ensure that the new member's company is not competitive with the companies of any of the other CEOs in that group, either in market or strategy. CEO-CF principal Lisa Macdonald conducts a business diagnostic to identify the key issues facing both CEO and company. The resulting products include a company profile and a performance evaluator, both critical in introducing the CEO into his selected peer-group. The CEO-CF staff carefully assimilates new members into their designated forums so that each participant is an integral part of the group from the very first meeting. They appoint a peer mentor from within the group and host a special orientation session dedicated to accelerating the new member's integration. Ongoing members get ready for each forum by identifying issues-their member challenges-on which they would like feedback from their peers, the CEO-CF staff, and guest experts. They also prepare for discussions of the challenges facing the others in their group. The CEO-CF staff, in consultation with relevant experts, prepares to present topics tailored to the specific needs and challenges of the members.
